Book Recommendations

When I try to explain concepts to people I will nearly always link it to a book I have read, which makes it difficult at times to converse with people who don't read.  Books are important to me.  Words are important to me.  True things are important to me.  Once having read a truly very good book, I am eager to show others its merit, occasionally (as in this case) in an ongoing list of material that has somehow changed my perspective on the world.

Generally, these are in a kind of chronological order rather than order of importance or degree of life change.  As with most acquaintances, I have been introduced to them over the years in varying situations, so the most recently known will be towards the top.

These are my (mostly) life changer books.
